You’re welcome to read, share, and link to anything on this site. Please don’t copy its design, text, or images for your own commercial use without asking first.

The articles, guides, and examples here are general information about websites and online marketing. They aren’t legal, medical, financial, or compliance advice for your specific situation.

This site links to other websites, including client sites and tools I recommend. I’m not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

Free website audits

The free audit is my honest professional opinion of your website and two competitors, based on publicly available information and third-party tools at the time I review them. It’s free, and requesting one doesn’t commit you to anything. Scores and rankings change over time, and the audit isn’t a guarantee of any result.

Working together

Every project starts with a written proposal and agreement. If anything in the agreement differs from this page, the agreement wins. Here’s what it typically covers:

• Practice Roadmap. Paid in full before the first strategy session and not refundable once that session has taken place. Yours to keep. Credited in full toward a website started within 30 days.
• Scope and price. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted as a fixed price and starts only once you’ve approved it.
• Payments. A first payment to start, the rest tied to milestones or a payment plan. The site goes live once the launch payment has cleared.
• Your content. You provide your copy, photos, and materials, and the right to use them.
• Project pauses. If content or approvals don’t arrive within 30 days of the approved content plan, the project pauses. Projects paused for more than 90 days may carry a reactivation fee.
• Revisions. Up to three rounds, each one consolidated list. Extra rounds are a fixed price.
• Hosting and accounts. Your site is built in your own Webflow account, paid directly by you.
• Ownership. Once paid in full, you own the finished website and its content.
• No guaranteed rankings. No one can guarantee specific Google rankings, traffic, or numbers of new clients.

Care plans

• Month to month. Your plan renews each month until you cancel.
• Cancelling. At least 30 days before your next renewal date.
• Included hours don’t roll over; anything beyond them is quoted as a fixed price first.
• Your website stays yours if you cancel, online in your own Webflow account.

How I use AI tools

I use modern software, including AI tools, to research, design, and build websites faster. Every piece of work is directed and reviewed by me. I never use AI tools on client or health information. Anything that shows you or is written to sound like you is disclosed in advance and used only with your approval.

Healthcare clients

I build public-facing marketing websites. I don’t build or manage client portals, health records, or intake systems, and I don’t handle protected health information. You’re responsible for your own HIPAA compliance and the accuracy of the clinical claims on your site.

Limitation of liability

This website is provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, StarCima isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses. For client projects, my total liability is limited to the amount paid for the project, as set out in your agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Johnson County, Texas.
